During the lab, participants select scenes from their scripts and walk through a mini-production under the guidance of the lab instructor.
Participants learn how to break down a script, collaborate with a cinematographer, work with actors and construct a scene in the editing process.
In addition, lab participants have one-on-one meetings with lab advisors, which range from established directors, producers, casting
Directors and other industry professionals who advise them on their projects.
Participants also receive access to DV cameras and to Final Cut Pro as well as a complimentary pass to the IFP/LA Director Series, which runs concurrently.
