Growing up in small-town America, Dave (Jeremy Jordan,
Never Been Kissed) and Ethan (Mark Ballou, In &
Out) dream about escaping their confining families to search for
their dreams and freedom in the big city.
Ethan moves to Los Angeles first, working to save money for his first
film. Soon after, Dave decides to step out of his conservative family's shadow
and join Ethan. Riding on dreams of fortune and fame, Dave arrives in Hollywood, only to
find Ethan defeated by the harsh realities of show business.
Dave befriends Valerie (Ruth De Sosa, The Young Indiana Jones
Chronicles), a wealthy Beverly Hills housewife, who promises to fund
Ethan's film in exchange for a one-night stand with Dave. But Dave's true love is the coffee shop waitress Patricia (Portia
Dawson).
In order to continue their quest in a town built on greed and insecurity, Dave is forced to choose between love and friendship.
The two friends soon discover that life has its own destiny for everyone. |
