Scriptwriters Network Chairman Bill Lundy has announced the opening of
the eleventh annual Carl Sautter Memorial Scriptwriting Competition for Film and Television. Scripts will be judged in three categories:
Features/MOW's, Half-Hour Television, and One-Hour Television. The deadline for entries is February 10, 2001.
Participants must be members of The Scriptwriters Network; non-members may join the organization at the same time they enter the competition.

The Scriptwriters Network is a 700-member non-profit organization of
film and television writers which meets monthly at Universal Studios
with guest speakers from the entertainment industry, sponsors a high
school fellowship program, publishes a newsletter, maintains a script
library, and promotes personal and professional networking in the
entertainment field.
