Awards/Prizes: Individual Artist Fellowships are valued at $2,500 and $5,000 and are given to emerging and mid-career artists to support their artistic endeavors and creation of new work in visual, craft, media and performance art. (In FY2006, writers, choreographers and composers will be eligible.) |

The Individual Artist Grant program will give priority to applications that focus on the creation and presentation of new works.
Individual Artist Projects are open to creative artists who work in any art discipline, including visual arts, crafts, media, music, choreography, theater and creative writing. This category provides grants up to $5,000. |

| Eligibility:
Artists must be residents of the City of Houston for at least 24 consecutive months prior to the December 3, 2004 application deadline. |
