Honorable Mentions

• (10) will receive a General Script Analysis on your short comedy scripts by an HCC professional valued at $75. HCC Analysis provides critical information to identify the strengths and weaknesses in a script.

• Please send two (2) copies of the script in industry standard script format, in English, bound with two or three brads. Short script must be no less than 5, and no more than 45 pages.
• Entry fee per short screenplay is $30. Enter your short script by August 1st and the entry fee is reduced to $25.
• The script must have title page containing: the title, author's name, E-mail address, phone number and home address.
• Submissions must be comedy shorts (under 45 pages), live action or animation.
• Multiple entries are permissible, but each entry must be accompanied by an Entry Form and an entry fee.
• Adaptations from other works are permissible provided you have the writer's written permission to adapt the work. Permission must be included with the entry.
• Collaborative work is eligible, but each writer must fill out and sign an Entry Form individually. The writers are responsible for the distribution of any contest prize(s).
• Contest applicants must accept without reservation the decisions rendered by the jurors.
• The short screenplay must not have been previously optioned, sold, or produced for profit.
• You must retain at least one copy of the submitted material, and understand that all material we receive cannot and will not be returned under any circumstances.
