Rules:
All screenplay entries must be accompanied by a completed entry form, $60.00 entry fee for feature length and $30.00 for short length made out to IFFF, a 120 word synopsis and character description that is bound within the script, and the writer(s) resume. Your name should not appear anywhere on the screenplay. All judging is done without knowledge of the authors name.
Screenplays that are currently optioned or have negotiations pending and/or are sold before IFFF ends are not eligible for competition.
Feature length Screenplays must be no longer than 120 pages, and Short Screenplays no longer than 45 pages. All screenplay entries must be written in English. Any revisions after submissions are not accepted. Screenplays must be in 12 point Courier font, pages must be numbered, and be on 3 hole punched paper with brads. No promotional materials, illustrations, or shooting screenplays will be accepted.
It is the responsibility of the screenwriter to insure that their work is protected. (Copyright or Writers Guild)
At the request of production companies, literary agents and/or major studios, a synopsis list of screenplays entered is sent to them for consideration. To be included on this list, you must sign the release form which will be sent to you when the Finalists are announced.
