The Oscar Moore Foundation was formed to encourage and support European screen-writing talent by awarding an annual prize of £10,000 the Oscar Moore Screen-writing Prize to the European screen-writer of the most promising first draft screenplay in a genre which changes every year. |

Eligibility:
Prize will be awarded to the best EUROPEAN Thriller. |

Rules:
1.)The screenplay must be contemporary and European - written by a European national.
2.)The screenplay must be for a feature-length film - no more than 120 pages in length.
3.)The screenplay must be written in English and submitted in typed form.
4.)The screenplay writer must divulge whether any contractual relationships pertaining to the screenplay have been entered into and, if so, what they are.
5.)An application and release form must accompany each entry.
6.)A front sheet detailing an outline of the screenplay in no more than 500 words, the status of the script, why the writer deserves the award and what they intend to do with the next draft must be included. |
