This year NBPC and the Prized Pieces International Film & Video Festival is honoring the value of a good story idea with the first-ever Harlem Stories Writing Contest. By submitting your favorite, true Harlem-based story by deadline, you are eligible to win first cash prize.
Notification Date:  September 25, 2005.
Eligibility: The contest is open to anyone, seasoned writers and novices alike, of all ages.
Rules:  By submitting your favorite, true Harlem-based story by August 19, 2005 you are eligible to win $500. The top three stories will be posted on the web and the public will vote to decide the winner. Log onto website check “Submissions” for more information and to download the application.
