The Reel Sisters Screenplay Competition is dedicated to supporting the creation of new screenplays by women of color. Our goal is to create opportunities for women of color in the film industry to succeed as writers, directors and producers. A well-written script will provide jobs and opportunities for artists of color to excel behind and in front of the camera once a screenplay is produced. It is in this spirit that Reel Sisters presents our first screenplay competition.
