| The screenplay award is organized and promoted by the RIFF. The intent is to offer new filmmakers a concrete opportunity to grow professionally by developing their films, and making them

| Eligibility:
The author of the script may be one or more persons, from any country or nationality, and of any age. |

| Rules: Screenplays must be in standard script format:
cover page with name, contact info; 12 pt. courier or similar character; numbered pages; 3 hole punched, with metal prongs. Total length must not exceed 120 pages. NO plastic covers or binders.
