Set in the course of a single day at the Winston home and hair salon, Last
Days of Exodus is a provocative, fast moving story about a desperate
mother’s struggle to secure a future for her family as she faces imminent
displacement; a grandmother’s refusal to let go of the past; a nationless
woman in search of a new home; and a young 15-year old girl’s attempt to
come to terms with her evolving gender-sexuality amidst of it all.
Last Days of Exodus is the story of a black working class family’s
struggle to save their home and family business and four women who are
faced to deal with life’s difficult choices.
