Two
dysfunctional people rub together by way of same floor flats in a city
neighborhood. Both are unraveling inside. She powers on as a smiling
hipster chef, while he regiments his narrow routine like the Air force he
once belonged in, hoping to control his mordant guilt. They shouldn’t get
along but find something, in their losses.
She's still waiting for her husband who disappeared in Costa Rica over
sixteen months ago. He's lost his sense of equilibrium owing to the
tragedy of 'friendly fire'. In the end food and loneliness make a bridge
to friendship.
