Synopsis:
The Ghost, is a 20 minutes short documentary film, on Oguz Haluk
Alplacin, close friend of Tezer Ozlu (lirik) princess of Turkish literature.
Memories and rememberences of Ahmet Oktay, Orhan Duru, Sezer Duru, Bulent Oran, Erden
Kiral, John Freely, as important faces of that time brings out a film presenting the bohemian lifestyle and story of a unique character of 50’s 60’s
Istanbul. Documents taken from libraries and school archives help us to find
interesting details on his journey of life. The Ghost, not only a documentary film on an extreme character but also a film that carries out messages from near history for today is surely a spectacular film with dynamic expressive editing.
