Three men kidnap a young girl during the afternoon of a school Christmas Party
First there is Dimitri, a Russian with a cold, hard and disturbing presence. The only one in possession of a weapon, his reactions are unpredictable. He is the brains and leader of the operation.
Joseph, simple, invasive yet easy going with a soft heart. He accepts without a second thought to play the role of Santa Claus.
Broken and bruised by a difficult life he finds refuge in Sveltana, a Russian restaurant run by the charismatic Vladimir who introduces him to his Slav community.
Then there is Patrick, unemployed ex teacher and manic depressive, carried along in this affair by a sense of grudging spite. He is the anxious witness of this ‘between friends’ operation. He’s the one who will put the three men’s nervous endurance to the test.
Their victim : Garance Van Mayer, six year’s of age, spoilt child, daughter of a famous
jeweler. Completely unconscious to danger, she lets herself be led to a mysterious architect built house situated in the heart of a residential
neighborhood of the town. She is promised gifts and plunked in front of cartoons during the wait for the right moment to phone her rich parents for the ransom.
Very quickly the atmosphere in this confined space becomes oppressive and electric. A strange incident will change their entire
behavior.
The tension rises, distrust and suspicion progressively infiltrate and begin to
destabilize them all ……
