SYNOPSIS
Maya, an Asian girl applies for work in a seedy Hollywood Massage Parlor and is suddenly lured into the corrupt world of prostitution or is she? As her true motivation is slowly revealed, Maya falls in love with a customer, a virgin poet who steals her heart.

Young
Man Kang studied fine arts at Hong-ik University
in Seoul, Korea. In 1994, Kang moved to New York City where he studied film at The New School. In 1996, Kang moved to Los Angeles and continued his film career working as a director for a television commercial production company. In addition to his fifty-plus commercial credits, his 1999 claymation short entitled 'Image of Korea' was distributed by Big Film Shorts and released on DVD by Quickband/Warner Brothers.
In September 2000, 'Cupid's Mistake' marked his feature film directorial debut at the Laemmle's Sunset 5 Theater in Los Angeles followed by a second screening at the Pioneer Theater in New York City in August 2001.
His short film, 'Toilet Lesson' was the Official Selection at Tromadance 2001. His second feature film '1st Testament: CIA Vengeance' and documentary, 'Haitian Slave Children' premiered in Los Angeles 2001. 'Haitian Slave Children' received a Best Effort Documentary 2001 Jamerican International Film Festival and Silver Remi Award in 2002 WorldFest Houston.
Mr, Kang's third feature is the controversial film 'Soap Girl(2002)', was selected in 2002 Big Bear Lake International Film Festival.
'Death Valley Diary(2002)' is Mr, Kang's fourth feature film. He is currently in pre-production with 'MIST,' a 2003 co-produced with South Korea and US. |

Tony T. L. Young graduated from the University of Hawaii with a double major in English and Theater. His short stories have been published in literary magazines such as Hawaii Review and Naturally. In 1996, he won the Kumu Kahua Playwriting Award for One Act Plays, Division One. As an actor in Hawaii, he has co-starred in a cable access series called, “Sleepless.” He currently runs an online bookstore and is self-publishing his first poetry book, “I Wanna Be A High Priced Slut.” |
